Trump's Announcement

On June 2 the president posted that he would appoint Pulte — who currently heads the Federal Housing Finance Agency — as acting DNI. Trump praised Pulte's record overseeing markets and cited his role involving more than $10 trillion at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. He said Pulte will retain his FHFA duties and chair positions during the interim.
