A two-page handwritten letter from Diana, dated Nov. 27, 1995 and written on Kensington Palace stationery, will be offered by Reeman Dansie in their "Royalty, Antiques & Fine Art" sale on June 9. Addressed to a fan named Michael Barratt, the note thanks him for his supportive message, speaks of being touched by his words and refers to self-knowledge and moving on. The summary says Diana hoped the Panorama interview would help other women and looked forward to teaching William and Harry the importance of deeper communication. The lot includes the original envelope; the estimate is about $4,040–$5,385.
