Baby Brooksbank is coming

On May 4 Buckingham Palace announced Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank are expecting a third child this summer. Eugenie also shared a photo of her two boys holding an ultrasound and confirmed the baby is due in 2026. While her children do not use royal titles, they remain in the line of succession: Eugenie is 12th, followed by her sons, and the new baby will be 15th.

Pressure behind the scenes

The family has faced recent turmoil: in October 2025 the King removed royal titles and a residence from Eugenie's parents after files revealed alleged links with Jeffrey Epstein; Andrew has denied wrongdoing and Ferguson has not been accused. In February, Andrew was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office over claims he shared confidential information with Epstein. Sources say Eugenie and her sister have tried to shield their children and preserve their royal roles amid the controversy.
