Although later reports mentioned behind-the-scenes “difficulties,” Kim told PEOPLE he holds “nothing but affection” for that chapter of his life. He called Lost a career-defining job that helped him make lifelong friends and opened doors he says he wouldn’t have otherwise.
Kim remains in touch with several Lost costars, including Harold Perrineau, Henry Ian Cusick and Josh Holloway, and admitted a rewatch is likely “in my near future.” He’s also promoting recent projects: he hosts and executive produced the four-part CNN docuseries K-Everything on HBO Max, and he appears in season 2 of Avatar: The Last Airbender coming to Netflix in June.
